Maris Stella Kindergarten

This kindergarten started in January 1954, just months after the FMM sisters arrived in Singapore. It is situated within the compound of our convent in Holland Road, alongside with other FMM missions eg House of Prayer & Formation, FILODEP and atelier. Over the years, many different sisters have served in this mission. Though at present we only have one sister directly involved in the day-to-day running of the kindergarten, the children and parents still see the FMM sisters because that's where the sisters live.

Visit the Kindergarten website to see more of this mission.

"We are women of different nations and cultures, choosing to live together in a fragmented world. Revealing the face of Christ by being a humanizing presence among people who suffer and are on the margins.Committing ourselves, with others to the care of creation and to the service of peace, justice and healing, where is most needed."
