Is GOD calling you...?

"We are not victims of chance or swept up in a series of unconnected events; on the contrary, our life and our presence in this world are the fruit of a divine vocation!" -- Pope Francis

What is Religious Vocation?

A religious vocation is a call from God to share intimately in His inner life of love.  It is God's invitation for you to share in saving the world. It is a special grace that God gives to certain persons, calling them to a life of poverty, obedience and chastity. This call is that nagging- tug on the heart, insisting to be followed.

How do I know if I might have a religious vocation?

Are you thirsting for DEPTH in your life?
Has God TOUCHED your life in a way that makes you wonder in awe?
Do you DESIRE a life of prayer and service?
Are you DRAWN to be part of a community?
Are you WILLING to go anywhere to announce God's love?

Discernment process to Religious Life takes years so DO NOT be AFRAID, start exploring now!

  • Learn to develop your inner silence so you can hear God's voice clearer. Get to know Jesus Christ, the One who calls you. Spend time in Adoration. Meditate on the Scripture. Meditate with the Rosary. Pray with Nature. Journal your God experiences.
  • Participate in vocation sessions available.
  • Share to a priest or a religious of your desire.
  • Make a concrete step to contact Religious Orders that you feel drawn to. Talk to their vocation contact, ask to meet more sisters of the Order, ask for stay-in experience, journey with them.

"We are women of different nations and cultures, choosing to live together in a fragmented world. Revealing the face of Christ by being a humanizing presence among people who suffer and are on the margins.Committing ourselves, with others to the care of creation and to the service of peace, justice and healing, where is most needed."
