What is the life of a missionary like in Africa?
Oh...Not easy! Trust and depend on
God's graces
and mercy.
Not easy to live in the culture of 'ASKING
and RECEIVING's attitude.
Maybe the people look at me as a foreigner that's why they always ask for money and foods. I told them that I need money too to buy food and I am working too.
I really enjoy working with the children. They are active and fast learners. The children really enjoy what they have in the classroom. At least once a week I take them out for nature's walk. I remember teaching them part of the tree but at the end they taught me how to climb the tree. They also teach me to eat palm nut. So we all enjoyed under the palm nut tree.
My friends are the poor, vendor and the security...if I'm going for my jog, school or market they will keep on eyes on me. These are the people which rejected by our FMM sisters.
We are still using solar even though we have electricity. Electricity can go off at anytime for days. We have no WiFi and we are buying data to top up our hp.
Pray, play, work, relax and eat. Trust in God.
